HOW MUCH DO BRACES COST?
Price for orthodontic treatment depends on several factors.
First is the type of braces
- Metal braces are cheaper than aesthetic tooth colour or clear braces.
- Damon system, ceramic or metal, costs more than regular brackets
- Clear aligners have totally different cost scale.
- Lingual braces may be used to correct the front teeth of the patient who already has acceptable bite.
Second important factor is the duration of the treatment.
Another one is whether fixed functional orthodontics will be part of the treatment or not.
Yet another factor is the need for temporary anchorage devices.
Your orthodontist will check your or your child’s teeth and discuss with you the treatment options and possible that would be necessary during the course of the treatment.
Depending on the duration of the treatment, metal braces cost €1000-1600.
Aesthetic braces cost €1200-1850. Damon metal brackets system costs €1200-1800 Damon Clear system (aesthetic brackets) €1350-2000.
Clear aligner costs €525-2250.

PAYMENT PLANS
For metal, aesthetic braces or Damon system 20% of the total cost is paid at the beginning of treatment. Rest of the total amount is paid in up to 12 instalments.
For clear aligners you are expected to pay the half of the total cost at the beginning, other half can be paid with instalments, depending on the treatment package.

For patients who consider to come from abroad for orthodontic treatment, transportation costs should be considered carefully. You may need a long treatment and visit the orthodontist almost every month. We may increase the time gap between visits. Although this would result in a longer treatment duration. This will not create a dental health problem, provided that oral hygiene is always maintained at the highest level. If you prefer clear aligners, your you will need less freuent visits.
